Brensholmen, Norway by _Marcel_ We came across this beautiful place on our trip from Tromsø southwards. Our goal was to take the ferry for Senja island. But we had to discover a long queue of vehicles waiting there, far more than the small ferry was able to load!
That meant to us another 5 hours of waiting for the next ferry cycle. An occasion to climb the nearby hills and discover the awesome beauty of the surrounding landscape.
Finally with a bit of luck, we got a place on the next ferry, that had a capacity for about 20 vehicles. Behind us there were about 70 other vehicles waiting. And there was only one futher departure on the timetable for this day!
The alternative for those who would not want to wait till the next day meant to drive 500km (about 8 Hours) around the fjord… http://flic.kr/p/o554Nk
