Låtefossen Waterfalls – Norway by Bas Meelker Still working on my Norway images. Here’s one from the Låtefossen waterfalls. This is also a touristic venue and can be very crowded. It’s located on the western side of the Hardangervidda near Odda. Anyone who’s been here probably knows how difficult it is to make a decent picture here. Apart from being at the main tourist attraction in the area, it’s hard to stay dry. Point your lens for just a few seconds at the waterfall and it immediately gets sprayed with water. Having to work with the sun right in front of me didn’t make it easier as well. All I could do was frame the composition and take the image as fast as possible. Then turning around, shielding my gear from the spray and cleaning my frontlens with a cloth, and then try to make another image. It must have been a funny scene. Anyway, it was fun having a look here and no matter how touristic it may be, it is still awesome to see such an amount of water falling down a mountain. http://flic.kr/p/oeqa1m
