Sommarøy, Norway by Shutter Yeti I have just returned from a trip to northern Norway organized by Antony Spencer He runs workshops to photograph the Northern Lights and we were very excited by all the news of the high solar activity recently. However, despite two and half days of perfect clear skies and a bright full moon, we only managed a slight glimpse of the Aurora on the last day, which was mired by snow storms and dense cloud.
We spent the days exploring the impressive arctic landscape around Tromso. This shot was taken on the last day at Sommarøy, a beautiful village right on the western fringe.
