Feeling small…… by Siggi007 At 860 meters (2,820 ft), Hornelen is the highest sea cliff in Europe and has for a long time been used as a landmark for naval navigation. It is a 4-hour hike to the summit, from sea level, if you are in good shape and a roundtrip, like we did, took us about 9.5 hour. The 2 colleges of mine that are sitting on the edge of the cliff, has a several hundred meters free fall in front of them……..!
