Troll, power lines and moun

Troll, power lines and mountains in Norway. by 101HappyMe Today I will reveal a secret. 😎There are many who believe that Troll is just a mythical figure from the folk tales. But … they are wrong.

If you meet a Norwegian, take a close look at their face. If you see a hint of a wart, or some black hair on the nose, yes also curly hair in their ears… Well, then you see a true descendant of the Troll family.😮

We in Norway do not talk loudly about them, because they have extremely good hearing. They can certainly hear us hundreds of miles away. They are found in offices, they are found in every hall, they are found down in the city and in every valley. They hide in political groups, and in large corporations, among the poor or rich. Yup, they are many more than you think.

Fortunately, there are some who through generations have acquired kinder genetic traits. These Trolls are often genetically linked to the Elves and even Huldra has probably had some love affairs with some Trolls. Some Trolls today can actually be quite cute. Especially Troll kids …

In Norway, a lot is invested in energy in the form of electric power. Over large parts of Norway, you see giant power lines that stretch for miles through forests and valleys, over waterfalls and river rushes, the masts that stretch towards the sky and crackle and sparkle when Thor with the Hammer shows his presence so the little people tremble in their knees.âš¡

Most people who build this hide the real purpose. There are electric fences to keep the Trolls away from the population.

Those Trolls that live in the mountains are gigantic, and the power lines are extra strong. As you drive through the landscape, you can see mounds of what looks like rocks and fallen trees, but it is actually Trolls who have died of electric shock. When the Trolls fall, they literally go through a thousand crushes. Some of the crunchy remains that here in Norway are called stone are used to build giant dams.

So now you know a little more about Trolls and Power Lines. After a steep, winding, frightening trip down the mountainside to Lysebotn, I finally managed to escape the Trolls (There were 7 Trolls after me). I howled with joy when the ferry came tellingly into the quay, and I could safely state that I had once again survived. Fortunately, they do NOT like saltwater.

Now I’m just going to go out and put make-up on warts on my nose, pluck some black hair on the tip of my nose and go to bed. Sleep well…😜

Ps, Lysebotn is a place located at the bottom of the Lysefjord in Sandnes municipality, Ryfylke in Rogaland. It is a tourist destination with over 100,000 visitors a year, which mainly has hiking to Kjerag as a destination. Lysebotn is also the starting point for many BASE jumpers who jump from Kjerag. Lysefjorden is a fjord in Sandnes and Strand municipalities, Well-known places such as Preikestolen and Kjerag are located along Lysefjorden. The fjord is 42 km long and 422 meters deep at its deepest. https://flic.kr/p/2mkPs61
