Summertime in Norway by RobertCross1 (off and on) Just a typical summer snowstorm in the alpine landscape between Hallingdal and Hemsedal, in south-central Norway. At about 4,000 feet (1219 m) of elevation, this is well above the tree line at this latitude. Small wonder the locals paint their homes and farms in such cheerful colors.
